Myrtlewood Bowls
Here at Zumwalt's we make our bowls, lazy Susans, pedestal fruit bowls, candle holders, cutting boards, clocks, tables, cribbage boards, and salt mills and pepper grinders. We take custom orders. All of the other products in our gift shop are made by various craftsmen throughout the state of Oregon. Myrtlewood by its very nature excels all other hardwoods in variety of color and beauty of grain. When ordering you can expect variations in color and shape. If you prefer a certain color please select from the following general choices: blond, honey, and brown.
We also use two different types of finishes on our bowls:

High Gloss finish (S) -- virtually no maintenance, very decorative, good for serving cold foods only (salad, fruits, nuts, etc.) There is a 15% charge for all high gloss finish pieces.
- Beeswax Paste finish (O) -- low maintenance as needed, produced right here at Zumwalt's with 100% Walnut oil, mineral oil, and beeswax blended together into a totally food safe paste which is then applied to the bowls, good for serving "all foods" hot or cold from soup to salad and everything in between.
